Habilitated doctor of social sciences in the field of pedagogy, psychologist and educator, professor at the Christian Theological Academy in Warsaw, head of the Laboratory of Psychological Foundations of Education in the Department of Didactics and Comparative Pedagogy of the Faculty of Social Sciences at ChAT.

His research interests focus on issues related to school and the teaching profession, with particular emphasis on the determinants of professional development, as well as pedagogical and psychological factors determining the professional effectiveness of teachers (with particular emphasis on early childhood education teachers) and the choice of studies to prepare for the profession.

He is the author of the monograph entitled. “Determinants of professional effectiveness of candidates for early childhood education teachers. A theoretical-empirical study” (ChAT Scientific Publishing House, Warsaw 2018), co-author of the monograph titled “Teacher in the face of opportunities and dangers of the modern world” (Difin, Warsaw 2021). “Teacher in the Face of Opportunities and Threats of the Modern World” (Difin, Warsaw 2021), co-editor of the academic book entitled “Teacher in the Face of Opportunities and Threats of the Modern World” (Difin, Warsaw 2021). “Interpersonal competencies in the work of a modern teacher. Theoretical and practical aspects” (Publishing House of the Academy of Special Education, Warsaw 2017), as well as the author of more than 30 articles and chapters in collective works.

He has held internships and study visits at Lund University (Sweden), the David Yellin College of Education in Jerusalem (Israel) and the Fachhochschule-University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (Germany), during which he gave lectures to faculty and teaching students.

Since 2018, he has served as Secretary of the Editorial Board of the journal “Studies in Educational Theory”. He is a member of the Polish Psychological Society, the Polish Pedagogical Society and the Pedeutology Section of the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
