Prof. Dr Jeremy Delamarter
Dr. Jeremy Delamarter is an Associate Professor of Education and Field Director at Saint Martin’s University, just outside of Seattle. His research focuses on the measurement and categorization of pre-service teachers’ expectations of teaching, allowing teacher preparation programs to predict and anticipate their students’ developmental needs. He served as the chairperson of the Washington Association of Colleges of Teacher Education field directors subcommittee as well as on the editorial board of the Northwest Journal of Teacher Education. He was the recipient of a 2019 Washington state government Advancing Equity grant, and he is the author of “Proactive Images for Pre-Service Teachers” (Palgrave Macmillan). Dr. Delamarter lives on a small farm outside of Seattle where he and his wife raise chickens and restore old motorcycles.
