Introduction

The 1st International Congress Teacher. Change-Development is dedicated to teachers who function in the world of dynamic socio-cultural and civilisation changes. These changes exert an impact on pupils, their parents, teachers and school institutions. They can be conducive to new activities, initiatives, implementation of plans, and give rise to new, previously non-existent difficulties.

            As a consequence, in the face of the observed changes and the inability to confront them, anxiety and uncertainty may creep in, making teachers’ work even more burdensome, permeated with fear and maimed by helplessness. Despite numerous studies on school and its reforms, effective systemic solutions are not operational yet. Hence the recurring need for analyses, discussions and continued search for new solutions in the area of teacher’s work. The lectures and workshops organised as part of the congress should provide an excellent platform to meet in person and stimulate such efforts.
